Position Overview:

The Assistant Production Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the Production Manager in overseeing and improving our production operations. This role requires a hands-on approach and a keen eye for detail to ensure that our manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in planning, coordinating, and managing production schedules to meet customer demands and company targets.

- Supervise production staff to ensure production processes are carried out efficiently and safely.

- Monitor and maintain quality standards throughout the production process.

- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

- Collaborate with other departments such as Quality Control, Maintenance, and Logistics to ensure seamless operations.

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the production area.

- Assist in managing inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.

- Prepare production reports and maintain accurate records.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as they arise.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the FMCG sector.

- Strong understanding of production processes and quality control.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills.

- Proficient in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
