The Lead Teacher helps nurture and develop the knowledge, abilities and social skills of children between the ages of 2 months - 4 years and prepares them for kindergarten and primary school education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing lessons/work schemes adhering to the KEY system
- Providing a safe and stimulating environment that facilitates learning
- Organizing and supervising play and work activities (for example reading, cooking, music, dancing etc.)
- Liaising with parents/ care givers and professionals (if need be) such as counselors, speech therapists and health visitors
- Develop a positive relationship with each child and promote the development of self- esteem and self-discipline
- Observe each child daily to assess skills, interests, and needs and use this information to facilitate learning and growth
- Establish a positive relationship with each child s family and share information about the child s day at the nursery
- Participate in staff meetings, nursery activities, events, and professional development sessions

Education Qualification:
- Bachelor s Degree in Education, Educational Psychology, Child Psychology or kindergarten Teaching Degree
