Freight Sales Specialist

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Freight Sales Specialist located in Beirut, Lebanon.

The Freight Sales Specialist will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers, providing custom-tailored shipping solutions, delivering excellent customer service, and consistently meeting sales targets.

  • Contribute to increasing company profits through fruitful customer relationships.
  • Present reports of potential prospects to the management for aiding critical business decisions.
  • Boost company revenue and achieve sales targets by taking appropriate measures into consideration.
  • Study existing and potential sales prospects through periodic maintenance of meticulously crafted reports and datasheets.
  • Take charge of promotional and sales activities by brainstorming new product or service launches with appropriate team members.
  • Leveraging different promotional modes like traditional marketing, social media, email marketing, etc., to advertise the company's products.

Desired Skills

  • In-depth knowledge to convert leads into a final customer, thereby contributing to the company revenue.
  • Knowledge of the freight forwarding industry and its regulations would be an asset
  • Proven track record in sales with experience in creating and delivering effective sales presentations
  • Proficient in creating sales records, client interactions, and developing precise reports.
  • A high level of focus on driving sales with consistent performance and teamwork.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Excellent customer service skills to provide the best possible experience for customers
  • Training and sales management experience are beneficial
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred
