JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, CPA/CFA preferred, with prior experience in financial analysis and reporting.
• 4+ years of proven experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably with multinational firms.

• Financial analysis skills including the ability to analyze financial statements and packages, and identify trends, and discrepancies.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and English.

• Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP for reviewing fixed assets, preparing depreciation schedules, and making adjustment entries.

• Familiarity with taxation and lease accounting principles to prepare taxes, review lease contracts, and make related adjustment entries according to GAAP.

• Proficiency in data management for managing databases, identifying, and following up on unusual transactions on a weekly basis.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Review local trial Balance with financial package received

• Follow up with related office any discrepancy found.

• Compare actual year to date numbers with related budget and report variance to the head of department.

• Review local fixed assets record and related depreciation, prepare a fixed asset record and related depreciation, record needed adjustment entries on a monthly basis as per US GAAP

• Review the lease contracts for the assigned units and prepare related adjustment entry for deferred lease & ARO as per GAAP

• Review and prepare for the assigned units the taxes and prepare related adjustment entries as per the US GAAP where applicable

• Upload monthly information on parent company financial system.

• Prepare in coordination with the head of department the monthly variance report

• Review weekly the Database of the assigned units and follow up on any unusual transaction.

• Assist in preparing, reviewing quarterly budget and forecast.

• Assist in monthly and quarterly consolidation of Actual and budget.

• Assist in attending to Ad hoc requests from parent company.
