We are seeking an experienced Information Technologist with a strong background in hardware and software, particularly Oracle-based systems.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of both hardware and software components, with a focus on Oracle-based systems. This role requires a deep understanding of Oracle databases, as well as the ability to provide technical support and guidance to the internal team.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain hardware components, ensuring optimal performance and reliability

Administer and maintain Oracle-based software systems, including database management and tuning
Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies for Oracle databases

Monitor system performance and capacity, identifying and resolving issues as they arise

Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams on hardware and software-related matters

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions

Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to ensure the company remains at the forefront of technological advancements

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware components

Extensive experience with Oracle-based software systems, including database administration and tuning

Strong knowledge of backup and recovery strategies for Oracle databases

Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional) are a plus
