Job Scope

The Security Manager is responsible for the well-being and safety of ABC customers and employees as well as safeguarding assets inside and outside the premises. Ensure the smooth running of the Malls operations and report incidents as observed on cameras. Supervise the team for optimal performance.

Key Activities and Responsibilities
Security
• Conduct regular tours within the mall, maintain a strong presence on floor to ensure proper functioning of the Mall, solve issues and raise recommendations when necessary
• Identify and predict issues that might likely lead to security incidents, investigate and assess situations recommending corrective and preventive actions in coordination with the Operations Manager and Security Consultant
• Handle accidents, misunderstandings and other similar incidents from investigations to actions following the authority matrix and policies and procedures
• Ascertain that correct and proper security measures are implemented in the premises, making sure all employees and tenants are abiding by policies and procedures
• Deliver the lost and found items to Customer Service department, if any
• Report daily activities to the concerned and ensure accurate follow up on safety and security issues
• Coordinate regularly with the Mall Supervisors regarding all related operational concerns & tenants related issues
• Regulate traffic in coordination with local authorities especially during peak hours and seasons
• Handle emergency cases such as fire, theft, manifestations, etc. as per policies and procedures
• Ensure the security teams from service provider reflect ABC image in terms of uniform, code of conduct and assure the proper functioning of security tools
• Develop and conduct monthly security and safety training sessions to security and parking teams

Other
• Prepare daily reports, identify potential risks and build on recommendations for improvement
• Communicate effectively with the team passing on all relevant information at the right time
• Supervise the security and parking teams and schedule and provide continuous feedback for successful initiative
• Develop and update related policies and procedures
• Act as a role model while demonstrating the core values of the company with peers and subordinates
• Remain up-to-date with the latest development and best practices in the field
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned and as per the business need
