Hotel Front Office Receptionist

Job Description :-

  • Handle telephone calls.
  • Handle hotel guests’ inquiries and problems and ensure their stay is pleasurable.
  • Maintaining the reception area cleanliness.
  • Maintain proper filing in the front office department.
  • Handling check-in and check-out procedures as per hotel requirements.
  • Attend FO briefing and take handover from the previous shifts.
  • Count and takeover cash.
  • Print special report for arrivals and check if its correct as per guest request.
  • Goes beyond their way to fulfill guest requests and solve any issue.
  • Reconfirming guest data.
  • Maintain a warm friendly environment. And the highest level of professionalism.
  • Having good relationship with staff and guests.
  • Fulfills the forms required during their shift (Courtesy sheet, handover sheet, witness sheet).
  • Responds properly to online reviews and knows how to handle online requests from Booking.com, Expedia.
  • Having clear invoices.
  • Reconcile guest balances.
  • Maintain proper coordination with hotel departments and external stakeholders.

Qualifications :-

  • Hotel Experience is a must (1+ years).
  • Knowledge in HMS software (PMS).
  • Living in Keserwan district (Preferred).
  • Must have a positive personality and a team player.
  • Ability to grow within the company.
  • English proficiency is necessary (Reading, Writing, Speaking).
  • Knowledge of handling email exchanges and respond in a timely and professional manner.
  • Must be a team player with a good sense of camaraderie.
  • Able to handle workload in high and low occupancies.
