1. Job Purpose
a. Support in developing the group’s yearly budget,
b. Oversee all the group’s controlling functions,
c. Ensure the implementation of an accurate and timely financial reporting at company level

2. Principal Accountabilities
a. Prepares in collaboration with the CFO the finance strategy for the year
b. Overseeing tax compliance
c. Manage and oversee the entire accounting team

e. Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the setup.
f. Review and approve major accounting transactions on the SAP system
g. Ensures the accuracy and completeness of the group’s control data
h. Oversees reconciliations of customers and suppliers’ accounts to ensure overall accuracy of the financial data
i. Ensures timely and accurate production of financial reports
j. Analyzes financial information and recommends initiatives based on the analysis and provides input to strategic decisions
k. Supports the CFO with the development and refining of the group’s yearly budget
l. Ensures the continuous management and support of budget and forecast activities
m. Approves the final version of plans, budgets, and forecasts to be submitted to the CFO
n. Reviews the group’s financial reports to ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness
o. Analyzes and advises on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments, and future revenues
p. Ensures adherence to internal control policies and procedures
q. Ensures that financial activities are conducted accurately, ethically, and consistently following local and international standards
r. Identifies and tracks KPIs for the controlling activities, and develops plans and initiatives for improvement
s. Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned by his/her direct manager

3. Communications and Working Relationships
a. Interfaces with the CFO for all matters related to strategic planning as well as budget activities
b. Coordinates with employees in the Finance department for the preparation of the various management and financial reports
c. Supports internal and external audit teams during the audit assignments
4. Knowledge, Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
a. BA in Accounting or Finance; CPA / CFA is a strong plus
b. 7 to 10 years of experience in the Finance Function within a company of the group’s size or larger
c. Strong knowledge of financial theory, concepts, and practices
d. Strong working knowledge of accounting and controlling processes
e. Strong interpersonal, communication, public speaking, analytical and presentation skills
f. Capable to work under pressure and strong attention to details
g. Computer literacy, including knowledge of MS office applications and basic software applications. ERP knowledge is a plus
h. English language fluency required, Arabic language fluency is a plus

5. Physical Requirements of the Job - If Applicable
a. The job of the Financial Controller does not require local or international travel
b. Employee may be asked to relocate
