Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description:
We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee and coordinate the maintenance activities of our facilities, ensuring efficient operations and the optimal functioning of equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities:
•Supervise and lead the maintenance team, including assigning tasks, providing training, and evaluating performance.
•Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure timely and effective maintenance of equipment, machinery, and facilities.
•Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify and address maintenance needs, safety hazards, and compliance issues.
•Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs, installations, and maintenance services, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to budget and schedule.
•Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies, and coordinate procurement as needed to support maintenance activities.
•Monitor equipment performance and implement preventive maintenance measures to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
•Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards, promoting a culture of safety among maintenance staff.
•Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions to resolve issues promptly and prevent recurrence.
•Prepare maintenance reports, documentation, and records, including maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment manuals.
•Collaborate with other departments, such as production, engineering, and facilities management, to support operational goals and projects.

Qualifications:
•Technical degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field (preferred).
•Proven experience as a maintenance supervisor or similar role in a facilities management setting.
•Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team of maintenance technicians.
•In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as HVAC, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
•Familiarity with preventive maintenance techniques, troubleshooting methodologies, and equipment reliability principles.
•Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees, vendors, and stakeholders at all levels.
•Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and MS Office applications.
•Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
•Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
