Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Senior Accountant role located in Beirut. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks such as preparing financial statements, balance sheets, general ledger accounts. The Senior Accountant will also be responsible for tax compliance, including the preparation of tax returns and responding to tax authorities. This role requires a high level of organization and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all accounting tasks.


Qualifications

Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Experience in financial analysis and reporting
Expertise in accounting software, like QuickBooks or similar software
Experience in tax preparation and compliance
Knowledge of international accounting is a plus
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or equivalent certification required
