  • Mechanical Engineer (BIM Modeling)
  • We are hiring a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM) for residential and commercial building projects.
  • The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in contracting design, with a focus on BIM modeling.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed BIM models for mechanical systems in residential and commercial buildings. (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Calculation, etc.)
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate BIM models into overall building designs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards. (ASHRAE, Saudi Building Code, etc.)
  • Participate in coordination meetings and clash detection processes.
  • Commercial and Residential Electrical Design using Revit based on Construction Documents.
  • Maintain a high proficiency in Revit, and effectively manage and communicate with a team of drafters.
  • Manage the BIM data shared with clients and meticulously document revisions and changes.
  • Conduct pre-construction meetings to coordinate modular designs with construction trade partners.
  • Coordinate design of additional disciplines such as Architectural, Civil, Structural, Fire Protection, etc.
  • Model Development: create, modify, and maintain Mechanical Revit models
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and other team members to coordinate and integrate mechanical systems within overall building designs
  • Conduct thorough quality checks and reviews of models to ensure compliance with design standards and project specifications
  • Generate detailed drawings, schedules, and documentation from the Revit models, providing comprehensive and clear information for construction and installation purposes
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in contracting design for residential and commercial buildings.
  • Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks).
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical codes and standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • This position is remote, with work hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, and Saturday from 8 AM to 1 PM. 
  • Salary will be discussed based on qualifications and experience.
