Head Chef - Hotel in Beirut

Hiring a Head Chef, reporting to the Executive chef for a Boutique Hotel in Beirut.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading his/her assigned kitchen team, running efficiently and effectively his/her allocated kitchen operation from conception to execution while ensuring the highest food quality control, food inventory, food costs and consistency in food production.

The ideal candidate will be:

o Ensuring all meals are produced as per the standard recipe and delivered from the kitchen on time
o Coordinating with the Outlet Manager to synchronize food orders and dishes’ pass between the service and the kitchen teams
o Conducting daily briefing to kitchen team
o Informing service team of new items or any shortage in ingredients
o Checking out all orders coming out from the kitchen and make sure they are served as ordered
o Maintaining the food stock level, control inventory to have sufficient quantities
o Ensuring kitchen team are fully aware and follow the nutrition, hygiene, safety and sanitary regulations
o Optimizing headcount and establish the working schedule of the relevant Kitchen team
