The work typically involves:

• Designing maintenance strategies, procedures, schedule and methods;
• Carrying out routine scheduled maintenance work and responding to equipment faults;
• Diagnosing breakdown problems;
• Fitting new parts and making sure equipment is working correctly;
• Carrying out quality inspections on jobs;
• Liaising with production and stores departments in terms for maintenance scheduling, spare parts and materials availability;
• Arranging specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components;
• Controlling maintenance tools, stores and equipment;
• Monitoring and controlling maintenance costs;
• Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs;
• Preparing the list of spare parts and materials are need for maintenance on quarterly basis;
• Working to personally set any equipment, such as programmable logic controllers (PLC), which control machinery on factory production line;
• Writing maintenance strategies and maintenance procedures for each machine and equipment;
• Ensuring there is continuous cover of the machinery and equipment in case of breakdowns;
• Coordinating with the manufacturer in case of any failure that needs manufacturer specialist involvement;
  
• Keeping history record of each equipment;

Skills and Qualifications required:

• 1 to 2 years’ experience in maintenance.

• BS of Mechanical engineering, particularly in manufacturing is necessary for entry.
• Working well under pressure.
• Relevant technical knowledge
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good maintenance management skills.
  
  Experience, knowledge and background in the following is a great plus:
• Dealing with hydraulic presses.
•  Understanding of welding processes and welding execution.
  
• Understanding of heat treatment and powder coating lines operation.
