Exotica SAL, a leading company in the floral and landscape industry, is seeking a talented Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, a meticulous eye for detail, and the ability to manage various financial functions seamlessly.



Responsibilities

1- Perform account reconciliations, including accruals and prepaids, and maintain the general ledger.
2- Supervise and provide guidance to the accounting team, delegating tasks effectively to ensure timely completion of financial activities.
3- Oversee accounts payable to ensure timely payments and manage accounts receivable, following up on outstanding invoices.
4- Prepare and file VAT, CNSS, and other tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax regulations.
5- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, analysing financial data and providing insights to management.
6- Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of cash records, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.


Qualifications

1- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2- 3-6 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
3- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).
4- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
5- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
6- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
7- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
8- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
