Human Resources Manager

Our Client is a leading Manufacturing company and is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team in Manama, Bahrain. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in human resources management. As the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR department, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and HR policies and procedures. You will also work closely with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  2. Manage the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing and interviewing candidates, conducting background checks, and making job offers.
  3. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  4. Oversee employee relations, including handling employee grievances and disciplinary actions.
  5. Manage performance management processes, including conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback and coaching to employees.
  6. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  7. Manage compensation and benefits programs, including salary administration, job evaluations, and benefits administration.
  8. Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR laws and regulations.
  9. Stay updated on HR trends and best practices, and make recommendations for process improvements.
  10. Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies that support the company's growth and development.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role, with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
  3. Strong knowledge of Bahrain labor laws and regulations.
  4. Experience in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  7. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with employees and management.
  8. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  9. Proficiency in MS Office and HR software.
  10. Professional certification in HR (e.g. SHRM or CIPD) is preferred.
