  1. Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customers’ expectations and company’s objectives.
  2. Analyse sales figures, customer’s reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock.
  3. Collaborate with buyers, suppliers and distributors to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales.
  4. Maximise customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately.
  5. Identifying feasible price points based on market and consumer surveys.
  6. Preparing budgets and demand/supply forecasts.
  7. Assisting in the creation of an organised warehouse environment to enable product accessibility.
  8. Produce layout plans for stores and maintain store shelves and inventory.
  9. Planning product ranges and managing budgets to help predict sales and make smarter decisions in the future.
  10. Forecast profits/sales and plan budgets.
  11. Monitor stock movement and consider promotions, price changes, clear outs etc.
  12. Build constructive customer relationships and team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals.
  13. Remain up to date with industry’s best practices.
