Wood is currently recruiting for Maintenance Document Controller to strengthen our team in Basra, Iraq 5/2 daily work we are only considering applications from local Iraqi nationals Basra residency card is required


  • Copy, scan and store documents 
  • Check for accuracy and edit files, like contracts 
  • Review and update technical documents (e.g. manuals and workflows) 
  • Distribute project-related copies to internal teams 
  • File documents in physical and digital records 
  • Create templates for future use 
  • Retrieve files as requested by employees and clients 
  • Manage the flow of documentation within the organization 
  • Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information and terms of agreement 
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports on projects as needed 
  • Controlling company and project documentation 
  • Following and improving document control procedures and processes 
  • Ensuring all documentation meets formal requirements and required standards 
  • Sorting, storing and retrieving electronic and hard copy documents on behalf of clients and industry  professionals
  • Producing document progress reports for Maintenance Planning Section head 
  • Conducting regular reviews and document audits 
  • Using computers to organize and distribute documents within a company 
  • Helping in the planning stages of a specific project 
  • Ensure documents are shared at key times to facilitate timely project completion 
  • Responsible to make sure the document quantity and quality during project transfer process from project department to maintenance department meets maintenance standard and requirements 
  • Collecting document such as drawing, manuals, datasheets, procedures, and any other document from electronic document management system (EDMS) or Aconex 
  • Working with CMMS engineers to improve the quality of asset data and maintenance management system
