Mission/Core of Purpose of the Job: 


Lead Information Exchange and Coordination within its Project and Discipline. Continuous review of performance and quality of the project. Acts as a sub-project manager within its location.


Core, Essential Responsibilities:


  • Preparing and presenting monthly reports of handled projects.
  • Act as a role model for coaching and guiding personnel to comply with Company CBM
  • Promote regular and ongoing opportunities for employees to give feedback
  • Cross-functional support to remaining firm departments, including Marketing, Commercial, Human Resources, Finance, and Procurement.
  • Adhering to ISO Standards applied in the Firm and enforcing standards through the supply chain
  • Uphold company standards of excellence and service, guaranteeing quality performance
  • Preparation of the project’s Monthly Technical Certification and securing its approval with the Client.
  • Following up with the Client for the release of Payment Certificates (related to Technical Certifications) and follow up until the final payments are processed, in collaboration with our Finance/Accounts teams.
  • Initiate procedures related to the project’s additional scope and/or claims, based on the requests received from the client and/or highlighted by our assigned project team.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Manager and Commercial Lead on the substantiation of any claims or additional scope related to the project.
  • Ensure project submissions to the Client are aligned with the agreed contractual scope and contain all the agreed milestone deliverables.
  • Communicate and release all project information received from the Client with the project’s technical team.
  • Challenge his project team to find methods to improve the project delivery process, reduce project estimated budgets and improve overall quality management and delivery of services.
  • Provide ongoing feedback, mentoring, advice and coaching to direct reports, supporting skill development, continuous improvement, and increased competencies through an effective performance management framework.
  • Conduct regular performance appraisals.
  • Share collective responsibility for delivering organizational objectives, through active engagement and collaboration with employees at all levels in the organization. Dealing with escalated customer issues, incident reports, and legal actions.
  • Monitor and review Operational KPIs to ensure the Firm’s strategic objectives are met within the region.
  • Prepare the project’s delivery schedule, including milestones, and activities and allocate resources as per the received budget. This shall be maintained up to date during the full duration of the project.
  • Focal point between company and Client for any aspects related to project management, such as setting up and adjusting milestones priorities, commercial claims, re-allocation of resources within the project, and delivery schedule updates.
  • Prepare project Progress Dashboards for reporting progress to the Client.
  • Lead Reporting Progress meetings with the Client.
  • Provide support to the technical team in technical/coordination meetings.
  • Ensure records for the project are maintained by the project team, this includes:
  • List of Deliverables and Submissions, as per project scope
  • Latest Status on Deliverables, as per project scope
  • Minutes of Meetings (MOMs) Tracker & Records
  • Request For Information (RFI’s) Tracker & Records
  • Information Received from the Client


Skills

Minimum Requirements:


Education:


- Mandatory: BSc in Mechanical/ Arch/ Civil or Electrical Engineering.

- Project Management Certificate (preferable)

- Recommended: MSc


Required number years of Experience:


8y -12y 


Training:


MS Office Suite, MS Project, Engineering and BIM tools required for the project
