Job Summary:
AKTM Group is seeking an experienced and dynamic Captain Waiter to lead our waitstaff team and ensure the highest level of service in our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of the waitstaff to ensure efficient and effective service.
Train new staff on service standards, menu items, and restaurant policies.
Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing feedback and coaching as necessary.
Schedule shifts and assign tasks to ensure adequate coverage and smooth operations.
Customer Service:

Greet and welcome guests, ensuring they receive prompt and courteous service.
Address and resolve customer complaints and special requests in a professional and timely manner.
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring that all service standards are met.
Operations:

Oversee the setup and breakdown of dining areas, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
Assist in inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed.
Financial Responsibilities:

Monitor and manage the financial performance of the service area, including controlling labor costs and minimizing waste.
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management or a related field is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry, preferably as a Captain Waiter.
Skills:
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including wine and cocktail service.
Proficiency in restaurant management software and POS systems.
