We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for supporting the senior accounting staff by assisting with various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process and reconcile invoices, payments, and expense reports.
General Ledger: Assist in maintaining the general ledger, including journal entries and reconciliations.
Financial Reporting: Prepare basic financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Bank Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Data Entry: Accurately enter financial data into accounting systems and spreadsheets.
Assistance with Audits: Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed.
Compliance: Ensure all financial transactions comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
Administrative Support: Perform administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and organizing financial documents.
Special Projects: Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by senior accounting staff.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: 0-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment or through internships.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
