Job Summary:
The Guest House Responsible oversees the daily operations of the guest house, ensuring a welcoming, comfortable, and safe environment for all guests. This role requires excellent organizational, communication, and hospitality skills to manage bookings, maintain the property, and provide exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities:

Guest Relations:
Welcome and check-in guests upon arrival, providing information about the guest house facilities and local attractions.
Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Foster a hospitable atmosphere, making guests feel valued and at home.

Reservation Management:
Handle all aspects of guest reservations, including booking, confirmation, modification, and cancellation.
Maintain accurate records of bookings, guest information, and payments using the property management system.
Coordinate with travel agencies and online booking platforms to manage availability and rates.

Property Maintenance:
Ensure the guest house is well-maintained, clean, and in good repair at all times.
Conduct regular inspections of rooms and common areas, addressing any maintenance issues promptly.
Coordinate with maintenance staff or external contractors for repairs and upkeep.

Housekeeping Supervision:
Oversee housekeeping staff to ensure rooms and common areas are cleaned to a high standard.
Implement and monitor cleaning schedules and protocols.
Ensure adequate stock of cleaning supplies, toiletries, and linens.

Financial Management:
Manage guest house finances, including budgeting, expense tracking, and reporting.
Handle guest payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate financial records.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Safety and Security:
Implement and enforce safety and security protocols to protect guests and property.
Monitor the premises to ensure a safe and secure environment.
Respond to emergencies and incidents according to established procedures.

Marketing and Promotion:
Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract guests and increase occupancy.
Maintain an online presence through social media, guest house websites, and travel platforms.
Encourage guests to leave positive reviews and feedback.

Administrative Duties:
Maintain accurate guest records, reports, and documentation.
Manage inventory of guest supplies and reorder as needed.
Prepare and submit regular operational and financial reports to management.

Job Requirements:

Proven experience in hospitality management or a similar role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in property management systems and office software.
Knowledge of housekeeping and maintenance procedures.
Ability to handle guest complaints and resolve conflicts professionally.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Job Preferred Qualifications:
Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
Experience with online booking platforms and travel agencies.
