Job Summary:

We are seeking a Junior Accountant - Treasury/Cashier to support our treasury operations and manage daily cash transactions. This role involves cash management, bank reconciliations, processing payments, and assisting with financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and possess a basic understanding of treasury functions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily cash management activities, including monitoring cash positions and ensuring adequate liquidity.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
• Process incoming and outgoing payments, including wire transfers and electronic payments.
• Maintain records of cash transactions and update the cash ledger.
• Prepare and process petty cash reimbursements.
• Assist in maintaining banking relationships and documentation.
• Support the month-end closing process for treasury-related accounts.
• Assist with the reconciliation of accounts
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial operations.
• Assist with external auditor requests .
• Handle customer and vendor inquiries related to payments and cash transactions.
• Assist with additional tasks and projects as requested by management.

Requirements and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting, treasury, or cash management.
• Basic understanding of treasury functions and cash management processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with Dolphin software is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
