Social Media Manager for Founders Media


The company


- Founders Media is a growing social media agency based in London, but working with clients globally.

The position


- We are looking for someone to start in June 2024.

- The role will be a remote work role, with occasional in-person meetings with the team or clients. Online meetings will be had several times per month.

- Vacation days: 30 per annum + mandatory days such as Christmas, Eid, etc.

- Hours you will be expected to be online are 09:00 – 17:00, Monday – Friday. You will not be expected to work outside these hours except for rare circumstances the work may dictate.


The job


To manage social media accounts for interesting clients around the world. Including (bold representing particularly important):

- Creating copy for posts,

- Editing social media content,

- Making reels, designing visuals, creating Instagram stories),

- Responding to clients via email, phone, messaging services, or meetings, in quick time.

- Being proactive with clients and suggesting ways to improve results and strategies,

- Responding to other colleagues who will report to you with community management queries.

- Occasional client meetings (travel/lodging expenses will be covered),

- Sharing reports and success metrics,


Requirements


- You must have extensive social media marketing knowledge, including knowledge of the best days/times to post statistically, algorithm insights, new trends, etc.,

- You must have 5+ years experience working in an agency, or similar social media management position. Please do not apply if you do not have social media marketing knowledge from a business perspective.

- You must know the ins-and-outs of all social media platforms from a business perspective (not just using them for personal use),

- Must have a passion for social media marketing,

- An ideal candidate will have worked in the hospitality and/or architectural industry,

- You must have perfect English language skills, especially with written English. Other languages are a plus,

- Full proficiency in all Microsoft office tools, Canva, Outlook, Google, Hootsuite, Loomly (or similar).

- You must be highly detail-orientated: you never miss a typo or minor edit.

- Please note: while everyone says ‘detail orientated is important’, for this role, it really is essential: we are looking for someone who is independent, and does not need a manager to check typos or grammar.

- After initial discussions, you will be asked to do some example social media posts for our consideration. Please note this work will not be used, and will be deleted accordingly after consideration.


Pay


- Starting salary is 1,300 USD per month. 


Bonuses: 

  • One client compliment =10 USD
  • One month with no errors (no typos, obvious errors, grammatical errors, etc.) = 100 USD
  • If you introduce us to one new client = 400 USD

- Your salary will be increased annually, minimum of 5%, depending on company growth and performance.

- Other lifestyle benefits will be added accordingly.
