Key Responsibilities:
- Trade Strategy Development: Create and implement trade marketing strategies aligned with overall brand objectives and sales targets.
- Promotion Management: Plan and execute promotional activities and campaigns, including in-store displays, point-of-sale materials, and trade promotions.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to understand consumer behavior, competitor activities, and market trends.
- Channel Management: Work closely with sales and distribution teams to optimize product placement and promotional efforts across different sales channels.
- Budget Management: Manage trade marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum impact.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with brand marketing, sales, and product development teams to align trade marketing initiatives with overall business goals.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of trade marketing activities, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key retailers, distributors, and other trade partners.
- Forecasting: Build forward forecasts based on clear building blocks, ensuring accurate predictions for demand and supply planning.
- Planogram Design: Design planograms and merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and optimize shelf space utilization.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Trade Marketing Manager or in a similar marketing role within the FMCG industry, preferably in the dairy sector.
- Deep understanding of trade marketing principles, sales processes, and consumer behavior.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and sales performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- 5 to 10 years of experience
