Restaurant Manager

Job Title: Restaurant Manager, Beirut - Lebanon

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years in managerial positions within the hospitality or food service industry. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring a high standard of customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, including food preparation, customer service, inventory management, and maintenance.

Staff Management: train, supervise, and schedule staff. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to improve team performance to HR in charge.

Customer Service: Ensure excellent customer service and address any customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.

Financial Management: Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, control costs, and maximize profitability. Prepare financial reports as needed.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and licensing requirements.
Marketing and Promotion: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels, place orders, and ensure timely delivery of supplies. Minimize waste and manage costs effectively.

Menu Development: Collaborate with chefs to design and update the menu, considering customer preferences and seasonal availability.

Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and cleanliness.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in managerial positions within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to manage budgets and financial performance.
Knowledge of health, safety, and food safety regulations.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
Proficiency in restaurant management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
A degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred but not required.

Working Conditions:
Full-time position, with the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Ability to stand for long periods and handle physical tasks related to restaurant operations
