A leading FMCG company in Lebanon, is seeking a skilled and efficient Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing our supply chain, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
• Order Management: Process and track customer orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock replenishment, and maintain optimal stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocks.
• Transportation Coordination: Arrange and schedule inbound and outbound shipments, working with carriers and freight forwarders to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations.
• Communication: Coordinate with internal departments (sales, production, warehouse) and external partners (suppliers, customers, carriers) to ensure smooth communication and information flow.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any logistical issues or delays, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Cost Optimization: Analyze and optimize logistics costs, identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to transportation and logistics.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in the FMCG industry.
• Skills:
o Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics management software.
o Familiarity with Lebanese customs regulations and import/export procedures.
o Fluent in Arabic and English (both written and spoken).
• Additional Assets:
o Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
o Knowledge of ERP systems.
