J Consult is a premier HR and Recruitment consultancy agency. We are currently partnering with a distinguished client to recruit a Quality Assurance Assistant for their offices in Beirut, Lebanon.

The Quality Assurance Assistant will support the Quality Assurance team in maintaining and enhancing our food safety and quality systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background, relevant experience in the food and beverage sector, and the ability to conduct supplier audits and visits across different regions in Lebanon. The candidate must be motorized and willing to travel as needed.

Responsibilities:

* Food Safety Systems: Assist in the implementation and monitoring of food safety systems in accordance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
* Supplier Audits: Conduct regular visits and audits to supplier locations to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards. Document findings and follow up on corrective actions.
* Quality Control: Monitor and evaluate the quality of products received from suppliers. Ensure all products meet the company’s quality specifications before they are distributed to our outlets.
* Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all quality assurance activities, including audit reports, inspection results, and corrective actions taken.
* Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on relevant food safety regulations and standards. Ensure all processes comply with local and international food safety laws.
* Training and Support: Assist in training staff and suppliers on food safety practices and quality standards. Provide support during internal and external audits.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the quality assurance processes and suggest actionable solutions to enhance overall product quality and safety.

Qualifications:

Education:

* Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Microbiology, or a related field.
* Experience:
0-2 years of relevant experience in the food and beverage sector, with knowledge of restaurant and supplier food safety systems.
* Skills:
Understanding of HACCP, GMP, and other food safety standards
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Other Requirements:
* Must be motorized and willing to travel to various supplier locations across Lebanon
* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
