Al-Akhbar Newspaper was founded in August 2006, 33 days after the Israeli aggression on Lebanon. The newspaper is known for its left-leaning political stance and its commitment to breaking traditional journalistic approaches. Al-Akhbar focuses on producing a modern daily newspaper that covers a wide range of topics from all over the world. With a strong emphasis on investigative reporting and capturing the realities of daily life, Al-Akhbar is distributed throughout Lebanon and in Syria. The newspaper is published by "Akhbar Beirut" and operates under the license of "Al-Akhbar" newspaper, which was established in 1953.


Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Specialist at Al-Akhbar Newspaper located in Beirut Governorate, Lebanon. The Sales Specialist will be responsible for communication with customers, providing exceptional customer service, conducting sales activities and managing sales operations.


a) Manage portfolio for each business customer and assessing potential business with it.
b) Participate and help in the sales process (subscription, official ads, commercial…) in the department.

c) Develop database of prospect business customers including pre-identified information.
d) Develop customized offers, alternative offers based on each customer needs and wants as per the company rate card.


Qualifications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong customer service orientation
Proven track record in sales
Experience in conducting training sessions
Strong sales management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of the Media industry is a plus
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Experience : 2-3 Years in related fields
