Senior Logistics Manager (FMCG)

A major distributor in the region is looking to hire a Senior Logistics Manager.

Role Purpose: Plan and manage the receiving, handling, storage, and delivery of stock to ensure accuracy, quality assurance, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

-Team Management: Organize, staff, coach, and train the team to achieve organizational excellence.
-Resource Planning: Optimize daily resource distribution for receiving, storage, and delivery operations.
-Stock Control: Ensure accurate stock counting, FIFO/FEFO compliance, and manage cycle counts.
-Safety & Maintenance: Train staff on safety procedures, and assess maintenance needs.
-Delivery Management: Oversee transportation, fleet utilization, and delivery schedules.
-Cost Management: Monitor KPIs, recommend cost-saving projects, and manage equipment expenditures.

Requirements:
Education: BA in Logistics or similar field; Master's preferred.

Experience: 10-15 years in a similar environment.
Skills: Excellent negotiation, computer, presentation, and reporting skills; knowledge of finance principles.
