Job Scope:
The Accountant Controller’s responsibilities will encompass a wide range of accounting tasks, ensuring the accuracy, integrity and compliance of accounting procedures as well as assisting the accounting manager in all required tasks if requested.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with the accounting principles.
· Coordinate with auditors to facilitate smooth and successful audit process and address any financial discrepancies.
· Maintain internal control, safeguards the receipt of revenue, costs, and provide insights to management.
· Manage and control day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries and share the results with the accounting manager.
· Maintain and control the accounting policies and procedures and ensure that the documentation is being followed in an appropriate manner.
· Work closely with the other team members to achieve the department and company’s goals and objectives.
· Maintain accounting filing systems and charts of accounts in an orderly manner. · Collect and organize accounting information for the purpose of providing it to external and internal auditors.
· Implement in coordination with the accounting manager the best accounting practices to enhance the overall effectiveness of the accounting team members.
· Control and monitor the counter filling of all companies, analyze consumption, and send a confirmation email that all counters are checked properly to the accounting manager on a weekly basis
· Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to optimize stock levels and ensure accuracy and completeness of the company’s inventory records.
· Develop and maintain a system for tracking consumable items used in various departments.
· Collaborate with department heads to forecast and plan consumable needs under the supervision of the accounting manager. · Stay up to dates about changes in accounting regulations.
· Play a vital role in workforce planning, training, and overseeing the temporary replacement of employees during their absence.
· Replace all accounting officers to work or vacancies if any.
· Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or equivalent

Required Certificates
CPA or CFA is a plus; MBA is highly recommended
