Sous-Chef in Nabatieh

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sous-Chef to join our team at Café Local (Nabatieh) as a Sous-Chef, you will be responsible for creating and delivering high-quality food items that complement our coffee
offerings and enhance the overall customer experience.

Responsibilities:
1. Menu Development: Collaborate with the management team to develop and maintain a
diverse and appealing food menu that complements our coffee offerings.
2. Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and
standards, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
3. Kitchen Management: Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including inventory
management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards.
Ensure checklists are being marked and done n day to day basis.
4. Quality Control: Ensure that all dishes leaving the kitchen meet our quality and taste
standards.
5. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the baristas and front-of-house staff to
coordinate food orders and ensure efficient service.
6. Customer Satisfaction: Interact with customers to understand their preferences and
dietary restrictions and accommodate special requests when possible.
7. Training: Train and supervise kitchen staff.

Requirements:
 Proven experience as a Chef in a coffee shop, restaurant, or similar establishment.
 Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.
 Strong knowledge of Lebanese and international cuisine.
 Proficiency in food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
 Excellent communication and leadership skills.
 Knowledge of food safety regulations.
 Creativity and a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes.
 Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
