Business Development Manager

A leading pharmaceutical company is looking to hire a business development manager with max 10 years of experience in a pharma company and with a ,
biochemistry or pharmaceutical educational background.

Duties and Responsibilities
Knowledge:
- Have a thorough understanding of the market, competitor landscape, and the company's products or services
- Execute market trends researches, Identify and qualify potential clients
- Assess market opportunities, prioritize countries and develop regional plans
- Understand customer needs, and focus on the markets with unmet medical needs for innovative pharmaceutical specialties
- Pinpoint companies that could benefit from our company's products or services
- Understand competitor strategies, and adapt to industry changes
- Develop expertise in specific therapeutic areas (if applicable): Gain in-depth knowledge of specific diseases or drug categories relevant to the company's focus

Growth:
- Create new partnerships and driving strategic orientations that truly make an impact on patient lives and local healthcare systems
- Developing forecasting models, performing feasibility/viability studies and tailoring business models according to principal's specific needs
- Leading effective cross-functional engagement and coordinating with external consultants as required
- Develop and deliver winning business proposals
- Negotiate in details the terms of any agreement such as pricing and contracts
- Close deals and ensure a successful outcome for both parties
- Increase market share by having new clients and expanding the company's reach within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Entering new markets, segments and therapeutic areas
- Develop, identify and qualify new business opportunities aligned with the company's strategy
- Managing and forecasting sales targets

Relationships:
- Build and develop strong relationships with key people at potential client companies such as hospital administrators, physicians, and pharmaceutical executives
- Attend events, network, and organize business calls
- Maintain and strengthen existing client relationships: Ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty to promote repeat business and upselling/cross-selling opportunities.
- Foster positive brand awareness: Promote the company's brand and reputation within the pharmaceutical industry
