Position Overview:

The FMCG Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and market penetration for fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG). This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing a sales team, and building strong relationships with key accounts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in FMCG sales, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development:

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
Analyze sales data and market trends to adjust strategies accordingly.
Team Management:

Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales representatives, ensuring they meet individual and team targets.
Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities for the sales team.
Conduct regular performance reviews and implement improvement plans as needed.
Key Account Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retailers.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with major clients.
Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing issues and providing timely solutions.
Sales Operations:

Oversee daily sales operations, including order processing, inventory management, and distribution.
Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
Monitor and manage sales budgets, expenses, and forecasts.
Marketing Collaboration:

Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional activities, campaigns, and product launches.
Provide input on marketing materials and strategies based on market feedback.
Participate in promotional events.
Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare regular sales reports, including performance metrics, forecasts, and market analysis.
Present sales results and insights to senior management.
Use data-driven insights to make informed business decisions.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in FMCG sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth.
Strong understanding of FMCG market dynamics and consumer behavior.
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
Work Environment:

This position operates in a professional office environment with regular visits to client sites.
Standard office hours are Monday through Saturday, with occasional extended hours as needed
