Sales Engineer

Tasks and Responsibilities:
o Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements by promoting the company's product and providing sales support.
o Take responsibility for relevant assigned projects.
o Prepare quotations according to customers’ needs for elevator installation and modernization.
o Coordinate pricing policies with the sales manager and the management team.
o Negotiate and convince the client about offers, quotations submitted, the quality and service provided by the company.
o Liaise with external customers, internal engineering team, suppliers and factory when required.
o Attend project negotiation meetings through the various stages of the project.
o Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain the types of elevators to customers that fit their needs.
o Ensure that all contracts are aligned within OTIS policies and procedures.
o Record details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken.
o Develop strong relationship with clients.

Skills:
• Technical Skills: understanding the inner working of elevator & escalator systems.
• Communication: communicating with others to convey information effectively.
• Customer service: interacting with customers to communicate effectively about their needs.
• Computer skills: MS Office, AutoCAD.

Related Experience:
• 0-3 year of experience in the elevator field.
• Previous experience in sales is a plus.

Education:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Oral and Written Comprehension – the ability to listen and read to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and in writing.
• Oral & Written Expression: the ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking and writing so others will understand
