Control all Accounting activities to ensure accurate financial records, compliance, and legal alignment of the company.
Duties & Responsibilities:
o Supervise, coach & motivate the team to improve productivity
o Monitor revenue/expenditure, foreign currencies exchange rates & Inventory
o Check & Monitor Banks reconciliation, facilities, LCs, guarantees & bank deposits.
o Monitor invoices & entries related to foreign/local purchases & review reconciliation with suppliers done by Sr. Accountant
o Prepare Quarterly / Year-end closing cycle plus legal/fiscal requirements
o Prepare Sales comparative reports
o Follow-up on collection status
o Coordinate implementation on month-end closing entries (accruals, stock variation, NSSF & prepaid expenses)
o Ensure full compliance with policies/procedures and submit timely report forms.
o Deals with requests from Government, MOF & NSSF inspectors.
o Maintain a healthy relationship with Banks, Auditors & Lawyers

Profile:

•BA / Master’s in Accounting / Finance
•5+ years of relevant experience
•Written and verbal communication skills
•Attention to detail / Time management
•Teamwork / Multi-tasking
