Responsibilities:

- Implement safety & security measures to safeguard company property, including machinery, inventory, and facilities. Oversee the operation of surveillance systems, access controls, and alarm systems.
- Participate in regular safety training sessions and drills.
- Perform regular inspections and audits of the facility to identify potential safety hazards and security risks. Assess and address any issues to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
- Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations, environmental health and safety standards, and other relevant legal requirements. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry-specific safety and security regulations.
- Investigate accidents, security incidents, and near-misses, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Report incidents to management as required.
- Monitor & oversee security protocols, including visitor management, employee identification, and access control systems. Address and resolve any security breaches or suspicious activities and report it to the head of department.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incident reports, security logs, and compliance documentation. Prepare and present reports on safety and security performance to management.
- Work closely with management, employees, and external partners to promote a culture of safety and security. Address safety and security concerns promptly and professionally.
Skills
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in occupational safety and health, Security Management, Environmental Science, or a related field
- 5-7 years of proven experience as a Safety & Security Officer. A similar role within a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of safety and security protocols, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and address potential safety issues and hazards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle emergency situations effectively.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with employees and management to promote a culture of safety and security.
- Physical ability to work in industrial environment.
- Writing and Speaking Skills: Arabic, English is a plus
