Position Title: Maintenance Manager

Location: Tech Store, Lebanon

Department: Operations

Reports to: Operations Manager/General Manager


Position Overview: The Maintenance Manager at Tech Store is responsible for overseeing all aspects of facility management, ensuring that all equipment, machinery, and systems are operating efficiently and safely. This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance activities, developing preventive maintenance schedules, and managing a team of maintenance technicians. The Maintenance Manager will also ensure compliance with safety regulations and manage the maintenance budget.


Key Responsibilities:


Maintenance Planning & Execution:

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and machinery.
  • Coordinate and supervise the repair and maintenance of all equipment, including HVAC systems, electrical systems, and other essential infrastructure.
  • Oversee the timely completion of work orders and ensure that maintenance activities do not disrupt daily operations.


Team Management:

  • Lead, train, and manage a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety standards.
  • Assign tasks and monitor the performance of the maintenance team.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork within the maintenance department.


Safety & Compliance:

  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with local and international safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of equipment and facilities.
  • Implement safety protocols and emergency response plans for the maintenance team.


Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective maintenance practices.
  • Monitor and control maintenance expenses, including spare parts inventory and contract services.
  • Negotiate contracts with external service providers for maintenance and repair services.


Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for improving the efficiency and reliability of equipment and systems.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to maintenance processes and procedures.
  • Stay updated with the latest maintenance technology and practices to ensure the best possible outcomes.


Vendor Management:

  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of maintenance materials and services.
  • Evaluate and select external contractors for specialized maintenance tasks.
  • Monitor the performance of third-party service providers and ensure they meet contractual obligations.


Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and safety inspections.
  • Prepare and present reports on maintenance activities, equipment performance, and budget utilization to senior management.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a retail or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
