Job Description

This role is crucial in safeguarding the well-being of our employees and protecting company assets. This role requires to have a solid background in safety and security management within a manufacturing setting and a strong commitment to ensuring a secure and compliant workplace.

Responsibilities:

Essential duties and functions are included. Other duties may be assigned:
Implement safety & security measures to safeguard company property, including machinery, inventory, and facilities. Oversee the operation of surveillance systems, access controls, and alarm systems.
Participate in regular safety training sessions and drills.
Perform regular inspections and audits of the facility to identify potential safety hazards and security risks. Assess and address any issues to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations, environmental health and safety standards, and other relevant legal requirements. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry-specific safety and security regulations.
Investigate accidents, security incidents, and near-misses, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Report incidents to management as required.
Monitor & oversee security protocols, including visitor management, employee identification, and access control systems. Address and resolve any security breaches or suspicious activities and report it to the head of department.
Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incident reports, security logs, and compliance documentation. Prepare and present reports on safety and security performance to management.
Work closely with management, employees, and external partners to promote a culture of safety and security. Address safety and security concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in occupational safety and health, Security Management, Environmental Science, or a related field
5-7 years of proven experience as a Safety & Security Officer. A similar role within a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus.
Strong knowledge of safety and security protocols, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and address potential safety issues and hazards.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle emergency situations effectively.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with employees and management to promote a culture of safety and security.
Physical ability to work in industrial environment.
Writing and Speaking Skills: Arabic, English is a plus
