Responsible for providing accurate and data-based information on the company’s financial trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building and developing detailed financial models that support organizational strategy and conducting financial studies accordingly, taking into consideration the various operating scenarios for better decision-making
- Overseeing and assessing the annual budget and financial performance in collaboration with the various departments and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts to ensure effective financial planning
- Reviewing and analyzing historical data, conducting variance analysis, identifying trends, and suggesting improvements
- Reviewing and validating monthly and annual reports including key metrics, financial statements, and variance reporting
- Monitoring and reporting budget deviations, recommending corrective actions, and proposing solutions to enhance the company’s financial performance thus ensuring strategic decision-making
- Following-up with the Legal Department on deliverables and requirements as well as on fee proposals and requirements from consultants
- Maintaining and improving financial models and dashboards, and ensuring data integrity and accuracy in financial reporting
- Ensuring adherence to financial regulations and standards according to SABIS® policies and procedures
- Studying and analyzing working capital investments, shareholders' rights and equity shares, conducting economic feasibility studies, assessing risks and levels of profitability, and providing related recommendations to concerned parties
- Developing and reviewing ad-hoc reports and studies as per management requests and business needs while providing required analysis and recommendations
- Coordinating and following-up with different departments on various assignments and projects for the different entities, regions, and countries
- Performing other related tasks as they arise and as delegated by the Management
Ideal Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance, or equivalent
- English and Arabic Proficient
- Preferred CFA or CPA; MBA is a plus
- A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in a relevant field
