D365 Finance and Operations Functional Analyst

We are growing! We are currently looking to hire a D365 Finance & Operations Functional Analyst to work with us remotely.

The ideal candidate will comewith proven experience on the full capability of Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operation (F&O) application with emphasis on General Ledger, Project Management Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash and Bank Management and Consolidation, As well as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales functionalities with emphasis on Activities, Accounts, Lead, Quotes, Orders, Invoices and Configurations to work with multiple teams to provide support and ensure the utilization of Microsoft Dynamics to its full capacity.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Use your knowledge of implementation processes of D365 Finance and Operation (and possibly CRM) to review the current implementation of the system in CXG
  • Understand and analyze business requirements and process of CXG and map those to system functionalities and compare with current setups and configuration
  • Design and implement workflows in various modules of D365 Finance and Operation along with email notifications and templates
  • Design Financial Reports on the Management Reporter tool on an ad hoc basis
  • Review the consolidation set ups and processes
  • Provide daily user support and troubleshooting of issues encountered by the users
  • Develop engaging training materials and deliver training to the team
  • Collaborate with all departments to digitally transform and maximize CXG competitive edge
  • Work with functional users to ensure continuous effective use of system to include utilizing additional delivered functionality
  • Provide power user support in creation of custom forms and reports
  • Provide leadership in the development of functional skills in others through active knowledge sharing
  • Assist in managing requests from stakeholders following the change management process
  • Develop change request business cases (i.e. define the problem, pros, cons, suggestions, cost/benefit analysis, recommendations)
  • Make the necessary recommendation and system configurations, where there is possibility to enhance system or business processes efficiency
  • Analyze new business requirements and produce a Functional Design Document and collaborate with the technical team when necessary to deploy the solution


Requirements

What you will bring along

  • A bachelor's degree on Business Administration, Finance or Management Information Systems or equivalent
  • Combined minimum of 5 years of operational and implementation experience with Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations D365 and Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • Experience with workflow approval configuration
  • A deep understanding of General Ledger module and Project Management and Accounting Module (core modules used in CXG)
  • Proven experience configuring financial statements
  • Proficiency creating and updating custom reports utilizing Management Reporter, Power BI and other available tools
  • Experience modifying forms and creating new custom forms
