Main Role: Standardize the implementation of the Company Policies and Management Plans (Quality, Safety and Environmental) in all projects while ensuring the liaison with the Project Managers for the the timely and accurate reporting of KPIs (time, cost, quality, HSE) for ongoing projects.
Key Activities:
- periodically with the Operation Manager key project risk items and advise the Area General Manager on technical and engineering risk mitigation solutions
- Area General Manager on all technical and engineering issues related to projects being tendered for bases on execution method statements and risk registers prepared by the team, in order to allow the proper evaluation of costs and risk provisions
- the preparation and review of contracts (Client, Subcontractors, Suppliers) during the various stages of the construction process in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
- advice on sub-contractors’ performance and recommend the most appropriate to the Area Manager for consideration
- with project managers for the validation of projects’ yearly budget expenditure requests to be incorporated in the Business Line’s yearly-consolidated budget
- the accuracy of the valuation of actual project progress issued by the Project Teams
- the projects productivity and budgets reports in addition to forecasted cost at completion prepared by the Project Team
- Corporate PMO with regular progress reports on projects under execution
- the allocation of resources amongst projects and identify gaps in resources within the delivery team
- and implement the internal Audit process
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in civil Engineering. Master’s degree is preferred
Minimum 7 to 10 years in operation with a minimum of 5-year experience in the construction industry
Technical knowledge, skills & abilities required:
Strong proficiency in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in project management software and tools
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Certification in project management or cost control engineering is a plus.
