Job Overview: House of Media UK is seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for storytelling, and experience in crafting engaging video content. You will be responsible for editing various types of video content, including promotional videos, social media clips, and more, ensuring that our visual media aligns with our clients' brand voice and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit video footage into cohesive and engaging content that meets project objectives.
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality results.
• Apply sound design, color correction, and visual effects as needed.
• Ensure all video content aligns with client brand styles and guidelines.
• Manage and organize video files and assets efficiently.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continually enhance video quality.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio of previous work.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, etc.
• Familiarity with motion graphics and visual effects software (e.g., Adobe After Effects) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of video formats, compression, and encoding.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Multimedia, or a related field.
• Experience with color grading and audio editing.
• Knowledge of current video trends and best practices.
