Position Summary:

We are seeking a licensed and experienced Customer Service Pharmacist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the frontline contact for our customers, providing expert pharmaceutical advice and support primarily through our chat support system and phone calls. You will play a crucial part in ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, offering medication guidance, and upholding regulatory compliance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via chat and phone.
  • Provide accurate information on prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, dosages, and general health questions.
  • Process and manage incoming drug prescriptions and purchase requests from customers through the online pharmacy platform, addressing any questions or inquiries related to their orders in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and resolving issues effectively.
  • Review and verify online prescriptions for accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Offer expert advice on medication usage, potential side effects, drug interactions, and storage instructions if needed.
  • Stay updated on pharmaceutical regulations, best practices, and emerging industry trends.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in accordance with company policies.
  • Monitor customer feedback to identify areas for service enhancement.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and holder of an active pharmacist license
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a licensed pharmacist.
  • Previous experience in customer service or telepharmacy is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient in using chat support systems and handling customer phone calls.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, including drug interactions and patient counselling techniques.
  • High level of emotional intelligence and ability to empathize with customers.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with technology and quick to learn new software platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and ethical standards.
