We’re looking to expand the Midgard family. We are a finance startup specializing in technology stocks and looking to expand our research department. We’re looking for fit before expertise; fit is essential for us.

Responsibilities:

• Researching and writing succinct reports on publicly traded technology stocks, tech-specific conferences, and macro events. 
• Updating spreadsheets with the necessary data regarding stock price, data points, and upgrades/downgrades. 
• Weekly updating office calendar sheet and monitoring execution of the weekly plan. 
• Creative idea generation - we’re looking for someone to advance the team rather than maintain the status quo.

Qualifications:

• English proficiency (preferably native English) with high-functioning writing, researching, and editing skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Journalism, Marketing, Political Science, Communications, or equivalent field. This can also be fulfilled by enough experience in the field. 
• 2-4 years of experience in the writing-intensive workplace, content marketing, or copywriting (preferably in technology, media, and telecom).
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work productively under tight deadlines, and comfort juggling multiple tasks.

Job details:

• On-site job with exceptions of remote periods. Keep in mind that the probationary period (three months) is fully on-site. 
• Hours are from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with the exception of Friday, which is half-day and ends at 6:00 PM.

• No transportation compensation. Preferably residing in the Matn area or Beirut.
