Role Description
As an Electrical Pre-Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support, procurement, communicating with customers to understand their energy needs, and offering customized solutions. You will also be responsible for sales activities and ensuring excellent customer service throughout the sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support:
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose suitable solutions.
- Provide technical expertise and support during pre-sales meetings and presentations.
- Develop detailed solutions based on customer needs and specifications.
- Create and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Ensure proposed solutions comply with relevant standards, regulations, and best practices.

Proposal Development:
- Assist in the preparation of technical proposals, including cost estimates, project timelines, and technical specifications.
- Work with the sales team to respond to RFPs, RFQs, and other customer inquiries.
- Review and provide feedback on customer contracts and agreements to ensure technical accuracy and feasibility.
Customer Interaction:
- Conduct site visits and assessments to gather information and develop customized solutions.
- Address customer queries and concerns regarding technical aspects of the proposed solutions.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in engineering role, preferably in the power or renewable industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical power systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with sales and engineering teams.
- Proficiency in using CAD software and other technical tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g., IEEE, NEC).
