Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable PHP web applications
- Lead or assist in the implementation of server-side application logic
- Ensure high performance and responsiveness to front-end requests
- Write clean, well-designed code and contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
- Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews
- Troubleshoot, test, and maintain core product software and databases
- Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic and design data storage solutions
- Develop and deploy new features to enhance the functionality and user experience
Requirements
- 2-5+ years of experience as a PHP developer
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in PHP
- Strong knowledge of Laravel framework is a must
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and MVC design patterns
- Experience with front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 is a plus
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, version control tools like Git, and continuous integration
- Familiarity with open-source projects like Joomla, Drupal, Wikis, Magento, etc., is a plus
