Job Description:
The Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of our chocolate production facility, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety in all processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, have a background in operations management.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the production line, ensuring all processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Manage and coordinate the activities of the production team, including scheduling.
Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure product standards are consistently met.
Develop and execute operational strategies to improve productivity, reduce waste, and maximize resource utilization.
Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Work closely with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished products.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving measures.
Report on operational performance and develop action plans to address any issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Food Science, or a related field.
Proven experience (3+ years) in operations management.
