Industrial Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:


  • System Design and Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and design electrical control systems for industrial automation projects, considering safety, efficiency, and scalability.
  • PLC Programming: Develop and implement PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programs, HMI (Human-Machine Interface) applications, and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems.
  • Electrical Panel Design: Design electrical panels and control cabinets, adhering to industry standards and safety regulations. Create wiring diagrams and documentation for efficient assembly and maintenance.
  • Installation and Commissioning: Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical systems on-site. Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in automation technology and industrial protocols. Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and reliability.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to timelines and budget constraints. Communicate effectively with clients, project stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to clients and internal teams during and after project implementation. Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical or automation-related issues promptly.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all automation systems and electrical components comply with relevant safety standards and regulations.


Requirements:


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in electrical industrial automation, PLC programming, and system integration.
  • Programming Skills: Proficient in PLC programming (Schneider, Siemens, etc. ), HMI development, and SCADA systems.
  • Electrical Knowledge: Solid understanding of electrical control systems, motor controls, instrumentation, and power distribution.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex automation systems effectively.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Team Player: A collaborative and adaptable team player, capable of working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
