Key Responsibilities:

Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to identify potential products and suppliers.

Sourcing Products: Identify and evaluate potential vendors and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to ensure optimal product selection.

Product Selection: Curate and select decoration items that align with brand identity and customer demand, ensuring quality and uniqueness.

Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and sales performance, making recommendations for reorders and product discontinuations as needed.

Collaboration: Work closely with the design and marketing teams to develop cohesive product lines and promotional strategies.

Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and high-quality products.

Budget Management: Manage budgets for product purchases, ensuring profitability while maintaining quality standards.

Reporting: Prepare regular reports on purchasing trends, inventory levels, and supplier performance for senior management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in buying, merchandising, or a related field, preferably within the decoration or retail industry.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Proficient in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
