The group’s technology team is looking for an experienced Business Applications Specialist to provide strategic business analysis services to the group’s users. You will join an agile, dynamic and fast-paced environment and work closely with the group’s business units to address their challenges.

Responsibilities
- Continuously and independently analyze services and processes around the group’s business initiatives/ projects to identify issues and pain points
- Lead the gathering, analysis, and documentation of business needs and requirements across functional departments
- Liaise with end-users and developers to facilitate the alignment of business and IT requirements
- Contribute to the functional design and development of solutions (i.e., processes, workflows, systems, etc.) to address identified business gaps and opportunities
- Execute and monitor user acceptance testing including planning, execution, and defect management
- Lead and coordinate the delivery of recommended solutions/ enhancements
- Develop documentation and conduct training (when required) related to new solutions to end-users
- Design and implement approaches/strategies related to data migration from legacy software to new systems
- Produce and develop detailed reports and dashboards for executive stakeholders to communicate updates, trends, patterns, and predictions based on analysis and solution implementation findings
Qualifications and Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in business and/ or system analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
- Experience in ERP, CRM, HR, and core insurance system implementation
- Proven track record in identifying/ communicating user requirements and managing User Acceptance Testing
- Experience in IT project management – PMP certification is a plus
- Ability to gather, structure, analyze, and present data from primary and secondary sources
- Strong experience in using Power BI, Tableau, and/ or Crystal Reports to develop integrated business dashboards
- Microsoft SQL development experience is required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and French required, Arabic a plus)
- Experience in Insurance/ Reinsurance is a plus
